Asking for help doesn't mean you are weak.

“What is the bravest thing you've ever said? asked the boy.
'Help,' said the horse.
'Asking for help isn't giving up,' said the horse. 'It's refusing to give up.”

Can I afford Counselling ?

I am offering a FREE fifteen-minute phone call to see if we would like to work together.  In that call, I will ask you a few questions, and explore why you may be coming and how long you may want to work together for, short-term (six to ten sessions) or longer-term, open-ended.  Currently, my cost is £40 per one-hour session, £55 for couples. I also offer a sliding scale discount for students and those not receiving a wage. Most people come weekly or fortnightly.  I work from my private practice at my home in Bridlington,  in a cosy counselling cabin in my wooded garden setting, which is private and close to nature.

Telephone sessions or Video meetings are initiated from my quiet, confidential space in my home. There is free on-street parking on the road outside. I am also on a local bus route.

Meeting

Attending counselling for the first time may bring up some feelings of fear.  Fear of what I might say, or you might talk about. We will take things at your own pace.  If you are coming to my house, just ring the bell and I will come out to greet you and take you to the cabin set in my pleasant garden.

If we are meeting by video call, we will have arranged the platform we will meet on, usually WhatsApp. I will call you and you will be in your own comfortable space, I will be in my office and our meeting will be in the space in between.
